Danielle and Jeff are College Sweethearts from Virginia State University, an HBCU in the small town of Petersburg, VA. Though both Danielle and Jeff grew up within 30 miles of each other in the DMV, their paths didn’t cross until what some would call “stalking.” Jeff had his eyes on Danielle for a year before he confessed his true intentions of meeting up to “study.” There are slight variations in Danielle’s and Jeff’s story on “how they met” and “who pursued who.” However, what we do know is Danielle and Jeff first met around campus and have been inseparable ever since.

When asked, “how did you know Danielle was the one?” Jeff responded “There wasn’t a specific day or moment that I realized Danielle was the one. I just knew that she was everything I wasn’t and everything I strived to be. I like to say she’s my alter ego. My better half. My person.” Jeff proposed to his “person” during his birthday celebration in November of 2019. A celebration that Danielle had been planning for Jeff for months, turned out to be the biggest surprise of her life. With all of Danielle and Jeff’s closest friends and family to witness, Jeff got down on one knee and asked Danielle to marry him. Danielle describes that night “I didn’t know what was going on. I thought I was taking him to dinner. Jeff blind folded me before we went into the restaurant. When he removed the blind fold, my whole family was there. I went to dinner as a girlfriend; and left as a Fiancée. It felt like it was my birthday.” Danielle and Jeff share an unbreakable bond. There is much joy, love, and laughter between this young couple. Danielle and Jeff have less than 2 months until their spring micro wedding, and a lifetime of growing old together.
