Jeff and Danielle's love story started on the Fourth of July in 2017, when Danielle was meeting up with her friend Tara at the Riverwalk center. Danielle, spotting Jeff, thought he was Tara’s boyfriend and asked, “Is that your boyfriend, Tara?” Tara chuckled and clarified that Jeff was actually her roommate. Danielle thought Jeff was super cute and hoped to hangout with him more. Fast forward to a few weeks later, Danielle challenged Jeff to a game of pool, betting that if she won, he’d have to switch from his unexpected Texas Longhorns allegiance to the Oklahoma Sooners. Jeff ended up proudly supporting the Sooners after the game of pool. Jeff also decided to challenge Danielle to a swimming race, the winner would receive a free dinner. Little did Jeff know that Danielle swam collegiately and Danielle enjoyed a free dinner from Jeff later that day. Their shared love of mountain biking was which led to many adventurous rides. Their first mountain bike ride, Danielle forgot her mountain bike shoes and rode in her Birkenstocks, which was nothing short of impressive to Jeff. They bonded over music, epic rides, and adventures and by January 2018, they made their relationship official. Their journey included rescuing a dog named Jojo in 2021 and weathering the storm of COVID together. In September 2023, Jeff took their love to new heights by proposing in Patagonia, Argentina. Danielle, a bit confused by Jeff’s Spanish proposal (even though very impressive), eventually got the message when he switched to English. They continued to celebrate on their trip by eating delicious food, hiking, drinking wine, and penguin sightings. They further tested their patience by rescuing a high-energy dog named Lou Lou, who constantly reminds them to stay active. Lou has made a wonderful addition to their family. Jeff and Danielle cherish kindness, patience, adventure, and finding beauty in the world and each other.
