Soon after Jason arrived at Quantico Marine Corps base he reached out to my pastor and asked if there was anyone that lived close enough to pick him up for church. Pastor Matt reached out to my parents to see if they could pick him up. As luck would have it - because we were attending a mission church, my parents were on set up that Sunday so my mom asked me if I would pick him up. After church, he went to lunch with our family, I decided right then and there he was quiet and awkward. The only thing I learned about the man was that he LOVED cows and Wisconsin. The county fair happened to be taking place that following week, so I took him (still quiet and awkward). Apparently, he must have grown on me, guess he isn't as quiet and awkward as I first thought. Three years later, he still loves cows and Wisconsin, but I am blessed because he loves me even more. As a side note, after that first day in church Jason told his sisters "I just met my future wife"..... he also thought I had the hots for him from the very beginning.
