It’s Happening !!!!!

Well if you are looking for some sappy love story. You won’t find it here. JP and Danielle met while working at Glenbrook Hospital together. Danielle was working as a nurse while JP was a patient care tech. Which means, Danielle basically told JP what to do while at work. They first started off as good friends. Then slowly the jokes, pranks, and making fun of Danielle began to roll in. JP would play practical jokes on Danielle while at work. These included hiding in closets and even food carts to jump out and scare Danielle. Their relationship moved from being together at work to hanging out outside of work and enjoying a hobby they had together which was running. They started to sign up for every race they could fit into their schedule. Danielle began talking to her best friend about JP in which she replied, you know he loves you Danielle, right? To which she replied, oh JP he is just a really good friend, there’s no way he likes me. Well this was going to be put to the test as they went on their first road trip/racecation together over Labor Day weekend in Virginia Beach. After a 16 hour car ride, they finally arrived and was excited to hit the beach the next day. Little did they know that day would be the start of a lifelong relationship. They got to the beach and as they made there way into the water and got far enough so no one could see them, they kissed. They did make sure though to keep all this a secret from JP’s brother who was with on the trip also(even though he knew also just like Danielles best friend). And this became the theme of there relationship , keep the relationship an secret because they both worked together and didn’t want people all in there business. Well the trip came and went by so fast and they got back to the real world and decided to start “courting”. Then on October 23 2014 they made the relationship official.

JP and Danielle made a trip up to the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. It was a long drive there so they decided to rest the first night and make a game plan for the next day so they could have a full day of hiking. JP being the gentleman he is, let Danielle pick the first hiking trail they would go on. Danielle being the risky one of the two decided to go big or go home and go on the 8 mile one way hike to Ramsey Cascades Waterfall. It wasn’t until they were about halfway on the hike JP asked how long the hike was. Danielle mumbled under her breath, “just 8 miles”. JP screamed out, “8 miles! My feet are killing me right now and we are only at mile 4!” Danielle knew she would probably hear about this the rest of the hike. The rest of the hike was pretty silent. It was filled with constant breaks for water and food and resting of the feet. But then they finally got a glimpse of the waterfall and it was beautiful. They got there and sat to just admire it. It was just JP and Danielle up there. That’s when JP asked Danielle to stand up and JP got down on one knee and asked Danielle to marry him. She started crying and just couldn’t believe that this just happened. It wasn’t until around 30 minutes later another couple got up there and Danielle asked them to take a picture so they could remember this place that there new lives started. As you may be able to guess, they did have lots of talk about on the 8 miles down back to the car.
