This was the location of our first date and it continues to be a favorite of our date spots for coffee, pinball, and star parties! They have been roasting coffee in San Antonio for over 30 years! They also have board games you can play in the cafe including our favorite, Battleship. Danielle beat me fair and square on our first date!
This was the second part of our first date. It was brought up as an option after going to What's Brewing (above) and we found out we both knew about it and absolutely loved it! In fact, Danielle knows the staff very well! Go in and tell them she said you should try the Samosas! Julio will be happy to get you as many as you desire!
One of our favorite spots to get Thai Food! Try the Chicken Pad Thai (Danielle's Favorite) or the Yellow Curry with Chicken (James' Favorite)! Looks a bit dodgy on the outside, but is absolutely gorgeous on the inside! Plus, the service is phenomenal!
Danielle has a litmus test for new Mexican restaurants to try. They must have the proper cheese to bean ratio for the bean and cheese nachos, the salsa has to be the right consistency and flavor, and the enchiladas must use the proper cheese. This one passes ALL THREE! :)
This was one of the dates that Danielle planned after a couple of months together. She wanted to take us out to an interactive art experience installation because of my interest in art. It was a blast and the video of me in the illuminated ball pit is STILL my background for Danielle's phone calls!
If there is a place we live outside of home...it's at the Drafthouse. Want to see a movie while you're in town? This is by far the best overall experience you'll get going to the movies. We're kind of biased, but, really, it is the best. Amazing food, too!!!!
