The Proposal 2022 made 10 years of Jamaal and I being a couple. To celebrate I wanted to go to Shreveport to see Jodeci, Charlie Wilson, and New Edition (I love old school music)! Before leaving for the concert, Jamaal said his mom was having family night and wanted us to stop by after we got back. I was reluctant to go because I knew that drive back was gone be long. We go to the concert. Had a great time. On Sunday as we’re driving home, Jamaal says let’s stop to get our nails done. I just got my nails done and honestly was just ready to go home and relax. But we made a pit stop in Little Rock for manicures. As I’m getting mine done, unbeknownst to me he’s recording me. We get to Memphis, picked my mom up, and went to his parents for “family night”. As I’m walking through the door I see my dad. Antennas went up. Something is going on. Everyone is smiling and laughing and then the Heads up game came out.
