Our story began in 2019, when we swiped right on a dating app. At that moment, the timing just wasn’t quite right for either of us — but something about the connection stuck. We kept in touch, casually checking in with each other over the following year and a half, but always knowing that the universe might have a better plan for us down the road. In 2021, that plan finally came together. After months of staying in touch, Dani decided to take a chance and go on a second first date with Jake. This time, it felt different — the stars aligned, and the timing couldn’t have been more perfect. We met at Angelo’s, one of our now favorite spots, where we shared laughs, stories, and the kind of easy conversation that made us both realize we were exactly where we were meant to be. It was the beginning of something special. By the spring of 2022, we were roommates! We quickly discovered that our home was filled with more love and laughter than we ever could have imagined. Then, in the spring of 2023, our little family grew by one more — when we welcomed our sweet puppy, Coco, into our lives. She’s become the heart of our home, and the joy she brings us is immeasurable! On September 21st, 2024, Jake knew there was no one else he’d rather spend his life with. With a heart full of love, and surrounded by their favorite people, he asked Dani to be his forever, and Dani said yes! — because the timing was finally, perfectly right. We are so grateful for the journey that brought us together, for every moment that led us to this one! We can't wait to celebrate with the people who’ve been a part of our story, and to continue writing the next chapters side by side.
