WHERE ARE THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION TAKING PLACE?

WHAT TIME IS THE CEREMONY? WHAT TIME IS THE RECEPTION?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 6:00 PM and the reception will begin after.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?

Answer

We recommend you arrive by 5:30 or earlier. The ceremony will begin at 6:00 PM.

WILL THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION BE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place indoors. There will be an outdoor bar and games option during cocktail hour; but, we will just see how hot our Georgia heat is on July 9th! You can stay indoors for the AC all night if you'd like!

TRANSPORTATION- WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS?

Answer

You are welcome to Uber, drive yourself, or take a shuttle to/from the venue (shuttle is reservation only- please go to the RSVP tab for details). From the Avalon, our venue is about 15-20 minutes away. If you choose to drive yourself, we will have valet who will park your car. If you choose to Uber, we have been assured that there are plenty of Ubers since this is a common wedding venue.

DO YOU HAVE A HOTEL BLOCK FOR YOUR GUESTS? WHERE DO YOU RECOMMEND STAYING?

Yes, we do! You can find all listed hotel blocks under the "travel" tab on our wedding website. Please note that the hotel blocks expire on June 6th.

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

Answer

Our dress code is formal attire. A formal wedding might include a jacket and tie or a traditional suit, as well as an elegant long dress, mid-length dress, pantsuit, or a more formal cocktail dress. We believe that you can never be too overdressed, so tuxes are also welcome.

CAN I TAKE AND POST PICTURES OF THE WEDDING ON SOCIAL MEDIA?

Answer

Yes! We love pictures! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, we'd like for that time to be 'unplugged'. For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to take and post photos!
