To tell our story we have to go all the way back to 2007! Oh yes, the good ole college days when Danielle first met Greg among his group of guy friends at Behrend and thought he was the “cute, quiet, mischievous one” and that deterred her. Fast forward to Halloween 2009, Greg and Danielle were downtown Erie celebrating at a local social establishment. The night was filled with drinks, dancing, laughter, and also their first kiss. The very next day (rookie move) Greg would reach out to Danielle to see if she would like to go out again, and Danielle never responded…… and life went on for the both of them. Fast forward to June 2020 when Greg moved back to Meadville from Cranberry. Hot off a 4-month cross-country motorcycle trip and ski adventure with his brother who introduced him to Instagram. Greg planned to have his “single summer.” Thanks to his new Instagram profile (many thanks to Clayton) Danielle accidentally “loved” a photo of his ski trip under her newly made dogs account which caught Greg's attention. Danielle would then under her own personal account slide into Greg’s DM’s not once, not twice, but three times (acceptable since she left him on read back in 2009) before he finally responded and agreed to a date. February 25th, 2021 they were planning a weekend birthday party for Greg out at the cabin. After grocery shopping, Danielle got to the cabin and began prepping food for the party the next day. After multiple attempts by Greg to have her come join him on the couch, she finally did so. At that point, Greg got down on one knee and proposed with the ring he had since November. Greg and Danielle would spend the next year living in Erie at Danielle's house while looking for a home in Meadville. The housing market was looking pretty drab until Greg's longtime friend mentioned his wife’s uncle potentially wanting to sell his home. The next day (New Years of 2022) Greg and Danielle wandered around checking out the house they knew they had to have! 8 long months later Greg informed Danielle that the house was ready to be moved into. Without hesitation, Danielle borrowed her father's truck, packed like the Beverly Hillbillies, along with Gunner and his food, upon arriving Greg was quoted saying “ that's when I knew there was no going back to the Erie house” A lot has happened since the move to Meadville. Over the following year they turned their new house into a home, and Danielle started a new career with Crawford Central School District. Danielle and Greg look forward to celebrating with you on October 14th! To RSVP please scroll to the top, click the 3 bars in the top left, and select RSVP
