How do I get to the ceremony venue and where do I park?

Answer

The following message contains important information on getting to the venue and finding parking. Please read it carefully before the event date. If possible, carpooling is recommended. Guest entry is at 2:30 pm and you can wait at the gate until that time, but if you arrive way earlier, feel free to take a little stroll through Balboa Park! FOR LOWER GARDEN EVENTS DO NOT TYPE IN “Japanese Friendship Garden” in your app. USE ADDRESS: 2220 Paseo De Oro, San Diego CA 92101 (Must type in entire address or will not work) Please choose the appropriate method of arrival: DRIVING - WITH JFGM PARKING PERMIT: Navigate to 2220 Paseo De Oro, San Diego CA 92101 (Must type in entire address or will not work). Park in lot and display permit on dashboard. DRIVING - NO JFGM PARKING PERMIT: Park in the Organ Pavilion Lot (closest) or any other lot in Balboa Park. You can either enter through our Upper Garden front gate, or walk down Paseo De Oro and enter through the Lower Garden entrance (photos attached), closer to the ceremony site. UBER/LYFT: Type in Gold Gulch Parking Lot; you can have them drop you off all the way at the back gate near the Pavilion (the Lower Garden private events entrance); there is a turnaround spot a bit past this gate.
