We are requesting an "unplugged ceremony" from all guests. We ask that you kindly turn off all electronic devices to be fully present with us during the ceremony. We promise to share all the beautiful pictures captured today with you! For the rest of the day, take as many pictures as you'd like! We want to see your perspective of our celebratory day. To help us find your pictures on social media, use #ReedMeALoveStory in your post.
We are requesting business-casual for the day. Please keep in mind that the ceremony will be outside on grass (weather permitting). Unfortunately Ohio weather in October can be unpredictable, so please check the weather for temperature details closer to the date. If rain is imminent, the ceremony will be moved indoors.
Yes! We have a full, open bar prepared for the cocktail hour & reception. Please do not bring alcohol - we have plenty to share!
The name really says it all – a table full of cookies! Traditionally, friends and family of the bride and groom prepare these cookies. Some popular cookies include pizzelles, nut cups, lady locks, fruit horns, biscotti and Italian wedding cookies. Rooted deep in the history of Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Eastern Ohio lies the beloved cookie table. The Wedding Cookie Table has strong ethnic and religious ties, linked mainly to European immigrants of Catholic descent – particularly present in industrial areas that housed Italians, Greeks, and other Europeans. Aside from keeping the tradition alive, the Wedding Cookie Table gives family and loved ones the opportunity to show their love and adoration for the newlyweds through working with their hands. To contribute towards our cookie table, please fill out the following form or send a text message to Danielle! https://forms.gle/tcjcB9AzQdEg8z1C8
Immediately inside the eastern-most door of the white barn, a table will be set up for cookie drop-off. Please write the name of your cookies, your name (if you'd like), and if the cookies are sensitivity-free on the cards provided.
