Danielle and Erik met on October 16th 2019 at the Alexus Steak House & Tavern in Clifton. This night Danielle went out with her roommates and friends for Alexus Wednesday's a Montclair State University tradition. Danielle and her friends were sitting at a table laughing and hanging out when she noticed some people she knew. Danielle went over to say hi two these friends and was soon spun around by Erik. Danielle did not question Erik because his amazing looks. Soon Danielle found out Erik was out with the friends she was talking too before being spun around. Danielle and Erik hit it off very well! Erik put his contact name in Danielle's phone 'Erik My Love'. Bold. Two days later Danielle and Erik went out for drinks and the rest was history! Turns out you can find love at the bar.

Danielle and Erik went away to the Finger Lakes for their two year anniversary. During this time they visited their favorite wineries and went on hikes. The day of their two year anniversary Danielle and Erik visited their favorite winery, Kekua Lake Vineyards. Danielle not knowning or even expecting a proposal decided they should do a wine tasting first. After many glasses of wine, they purchased a bottle of wine and cheese to eat while they had a picnic at the winery. After setting up, Erik played the song 'Beautiful Crazy' on his guitar. When finished, Erik got on one knee, read a note and asked Danielle to marry him with her dream ring. Of course she said yes!! Many happy tears were cried!
