Eric and Danielle initially met on the Jewish dating app 'Jswipe'. Before their first in-person encounter, Danielle had to go to Biloxi, Mississippi for a 3-day orientation and Eric was sad thinking she was moving there for good. After some clarification and a first date the day before Valentine's day in 2018, the two hit it off immediately. They met at Dive 75 on the Upper West Side and Danielle was fashionably late (by 20 minutes) and also showed up with bronchitis. After a few friendly rounds of life-size connect four and Danielle competitively betting that loser buys the next round of drinks a few times, the pair couldn't stop laughing. After a spur of the moment stop at a hole-in-the-wall Mediterranean place, Eric proposed to go split a Reese's cup (the first proposal) and won Danielle's heart immediately. Their next few dates included meeting each other's friends, Danielle taking Eric to the same bar trivia she has taken all of her other dates before, and Eric finishing Danielle's seafood because she ate an entire bowl of pasta before the dinner date. Since then, they have made new friends, welcomed the fluffy maniac affectionately known as Bagel into their lives, moved into an apartment together, and moved out of that apartment and into a new, better apartment together. Hooray!
