What should I wear?

Answer

Invitations will be forthcoming with exact details of the ceremony. It will be casual and on the beach behind the beach house we are staying in. Think mid-morning before the heat is too much. Please wear your favorite sundress or Hawaiian shirt and shorts! Shoes are optional…we are leaving ours behind! Just be comfortable and ready to have a great time with us!

What’s good to eat on the island?

Answer

There is great Mexican! Tortugas is sooo good! Want a sandwich? Check out Larry’s Giant Subs just right down the road in Brunswick. Looking to have wings…Wee Pub is the place to go! Sunrise Grille is a must for brunch or a quick bite! The Warf is beautiful and would make a great dinner location!

Answer

Check out our travel section of the site for a few suggestions. We can help with more if you need help. Let us know! We listed the three hotels closest to the ceremony location and the contact information for these places. Parking is very tight for the ceremony and this will allow us to help shuttle if need be but, stay where you are most comfy!

Why in the world are y’all getting married on a dang Monday?

What? Why not?!! Have you ever been to a Monday wedding? No? Well then, mission accomplished! We wanted unique and different. We didn’t want the traditional Saturday event. This is about celebrating with those we love and having some fun doing so, in one of our favorite places! Also, the rumor is 7/11/2022 is to be a lucky day and, well in the future we can get free big gulps and slurpies on our anniversary!!! Who wouldn’t want that?!!

So, what about a reception?

Answer

We will be having a small cook out/party after! We want to keep it relaxed and fun. It will be at the house we are staying at for the week. We don’t love cake…with four kiddos, there is a ton of birthday cake so, if we do a reception expect it to be without wedding cakes lol! More to come on this…
