Surprise, surprise! We met playing softball together on a random sunday. We were initially friends for a couple of years and got to learn a lot about each other... like Danielle showing Danny up with hitting a home run further than him. Obviously, he enjoyed the challenge and decided to pursue it further in 2017.

Danny, being his normal witty self, went to Roger's to get Danielle the ring of her dreams. He was able to order and pick up the ring, but needed to hide it at home. He knew there was no better place than to hide it with all of his golf equipment. He raced off to ask for Joe's (Danielle's dad) for his blessing. We say race because he literally had to track Joe down at the back of the property on his lawn mower. Of course, Joe was more than ecstatic to give his blessing. The day arrived for Danny to ask for Danielle's hand in marriage. He had this grand plan to wake Danielle up after working a night shift to propose by the Camelia tree at their new house. This way they could take a piece of the Camelia tree to be with them forever. I am sure we are all surprised that Danielle refused to wake up "to stake the Camelia tree". Danny's heart was beating fast and thoughts running wild, he couldn't wait any longer and kneeled down on one knee next to the couch with a phenomenal speech. Danielle was so surprised with her hair looking like medusa and make up smeared everywhere, but obviously she said "yes" happily! Many memories were made throughout the past 5 years with the best yet to come. We are excited to celebrate this very special day with our family and friends. See you in Elk Grove!
