This is our Elopement in Las Vegas, Nevada!

We met 20 years ago...

It was a set-up movie date night back in Jan. 2004

It ended up being a funny story. My best friend, Meggin Robinson (Watson), had decided to hook us up one January night at the movies. Meggin liked to play match maker and set me up on dates and even blind dates. So one evening, Meggin told me she had another date for me, as I just rolled my eyes and thought to myself, "here we go again, ok." I asked her, "who is it this time?" She told me it was Andrea's brother, Daniel. (In case you don't know, Andrea is Meggin's sister-in-law) I was kind of hesitant about it because I didn't really know who he was. But then I said, "alright," and sighed. We ended up watching the movie, "Cheaper by the dozen" in the old Regal Cinema theater on Main st. in Corona. Years later, I was told that Meg told Daniel a completely different story to get him to go on a date with me. To my surprise, he already had a crush on me for quite sometime and kept asking Meg to hook us up. So she finally told him, that my date backed out (which was a lie, there was no date, hahaha) and wanted to know if he wanted to take me out instead. And he said, "Yes!" So that cold January night, we went on our very first date. When we were only 18 and 19 years old. After that we were inseparable. We fell in love and just enjoyed being together and doing everything together. Then 8 months went by, we broke up due to stupid circumstances. We both went in to 2 different directions with our lives. I met another guy, moved to another state and married him. Daniel, decided to take the bachelor route. He did some traveling due to his job and worked really hard. Fast forward nearly 20 years later, I ended up divorcing my then husband. While I was going through the process of divorce and packing my things. I was struggling with the deaths of my two brothers. I just wanted to talk to a friend or anyone who would listen. One late night around 1:00 am, I was on Instagram just scrolling and then I saw Andreas face and I just thought and wondered, how's her brother doing. Sure enough he also had a Instagram page, I just figured I would send him a message of just saying, hello and hoping all is well. Didn't think much would come of it. But I kind of hoped, but who knew?! At this time, he was living in Texas, which means he was 2 hours ahead me. So I didn't think he would even see it or remember me! But in 5 to 10 minutes, he responded to me! I was actually excited and shocked at the same time! Ever since January 28th of 2024, we have been inseparable. There hasn't been a time we haven't stopped talking to each other. We literally picked up right where we left off 20 years ago and fell back in love with each other. Then 4 months later, crazy as it sounds, we ran off to Las Vegas and got married on May 1st, 2024! I believe our love for each other is so much stronger today then it ever has. Life teaches you the things in your life you didn't know were missing, until you have found it. And that's what I found in Daniel. I was missing him all these years and didn't know it, until now. He is my soulmate, my lover, my best friend, my forever. I'm proud and honored to be called his wife! I love him with all my heart and all I want to do is grow old with him. We wanted to take the time now to do a 2 year wedding renewal celebration to unite the family and celebrate our union as husband and wife. Thank you for being part of our journey! We love you all!
