Her one and only sister, Jenn will serve as Danielle's MOH on the big day. Jenn is the only person who can truly relate to Danielle's lived-experience; Jenn and Danielle can reminisce about growing up on Scranton Road, Girl Scout camp, mom picking us up from Girl Scout camp early because she wanted to leave, and our few (but fulfilling) family vacations (Jenn is solely responsible for a more recent vacation to Dutch Wonderland amusement park in Lancaster, PA). Jenn has supported Danielle at her highest and lowest points. In a time of need, Jenn knows how much a crisp fountain Coca-Cola will make everything better. In her spare time, Jenn enjoys visiting Disney World, planning a trip to Disney World, and playing Disney Trivia.
George Carvalho
Best Man
George is Corey's father and role model. George has been there for Corey through thick and thin -- sometimes operating from the sidelines, other times helping him pack up and move from Columbus, Ohio to Buffalo, New York (sorry, Dad). Never complaining or asking for anything in return, George has served as Corey's stoic superhero. Who better to stand next to Corey on his big day than the man who has never left his side? In his spare time, George enjoys camping with his wife, Tina, in their fifth wheel, watching YouTube with Coco, and cheering on the Pats.
Clayton Nascimento

Corey's cousin and best friend. With their 11 year age gap, Clayton has always felt like Corey's older brother. During Corey's late high school and college years, Clayton's house was Corey's second home -- a safe space for Corey to unwind, stuff his face with Chinese food, and play video games into the night. The inside jokes these two have run deep, sometimes feeling like they are speaking their own language. Corey is honored to have Clayton be part of his big day. In his spare time, Clayton enjoys family outings with his wife and kids, video games, and watching anime.
Carly Bone

Carly and Danielle met as freshmen at Gannon University in 2012. It really is an interesting story; having not yet obtained Carly's email or phone number, and needing to know if there was an assignment due for First Year Seminar, Danielle ventured down each corridor in Finegan Hall looking for Carly's dorm room (with her backpack, pillow, bag of snacks). Alas! Danielle found Carly's door and knocked. Carly answered, assessed the situation, and inquired the purpose of Danielle's visit (with a look of concern and confusion on her face). When reminiscing about this interaction years later, Carly shared that she was nervous because she thought Danielle was going to ask to move in with her. Safe to say, the friendship has been going strong ever since! Carly and Danielle completed their undergraduate and master's degrees together in dietetics, went to Guatemala together, and have been mistaken as sisters (sometimes twins) on multiple occasions. Two peas in a pod, Danielle and Carly have navigated the past 13 years side-by-side. Carly is the best mama to her daughter, Nora Josephine, and her fur babies, Lilly, Mika, and Rondo. In her spare time she enjoys playing and crafting with Nora, watching 90 Day Fiancé, and gardening.
Prianka Maharaj

A friendship match made in heaven. Danielle and Pria both swiped right on Bumble BFF in October 2024, and have been tied at the hip ever since. Among other things, Pria has been a shoulder to cry on, a friend to lean on, and Danielle's biggest cheerleader for the past year. She also serves as Danielle's adventure buddy, as she's always down to grab some concert tickets, book some plane tickets, or map out the roadtrips (its important to note that Danielle and Pria booked 3 concerts together within a 30-day timeframe). Fond of digital calendar invites and user of GoogleDocs for detailed itineraries, Pria is the planner to Danielle's spontaneity; she is the scribe for all details; and she is the rational voice (sometimes) when Danielle wants to spend too much at T.J.Maxx, Marshals, and/or HomeGoods. In her spare time, Pria enjoys gardening, gaming, reading, taking a refreshing nap, or being the best dog mom to her demon, Moira.
Jeffrey Gomes

Jeff is Corey’s older cousin and Corey’s favorite person to argue with. Whether it’s politics, economics, or God, Jeff always brings an opinion (usually the wrong one). The long-running group chat with Jeff, Corey, and Travis is never dull, filled with debates and the occasional unsolicited breakfast photo from Jeff, complete with reminders about how “very important” healthy eating is. For all the sparring, Corey wouldn’t have it any other way, and he’s honored to have Jeff by his side on his big day. Jeff's hobbies include making bagels, family outings with his wife and kids, and cheering on the 49ers.
Chelsea Brown

Chelsea is the beloved sister of the groom. A FaceTime call is a normal nightly occurrence in Corey and Danielle's household, where activities of daily living are discussed and tea is spilled. When it comes to siblings, Chelsea and Corey are a dynamic duo; while most siblings feud, Chelsea and Corey flourish. The one exception is when Chelsea bit Corey on the cheek when he was just an infant (don't fret, he has forgiven her). Visits to EP/MA consist of endless Mario Party and movies on Chelsea and Dave's couch, extended trips to the vintage store, and usually some delicious snacks. In her free time, Chelsea enjoys being pregnant, snuggling with Ollie, and reading romantasy.
Travis Gomes

Travis is Corey’s older cousin and the other half of the Gomes duo (Jeff’s brother). Like Jeff, he brings plenty of hot takes to the group chat, usually fired off between his marathon golf sessions. Corey’s earliest memory of Travis is, unfortunately for Travis, leaving his chest bright red after a series of slaps in their grandmother’s front yard. Luckily for him, he’ll be in a suit to cover up any evidence. Corey is grateful to have him standing up there on his big day. In his spare time, Travis enjoys golfing, outings with his wife and kids, and being a Green Bay Packers fan.
Victoria Olson

Tori and Danielle met in 2012 at Gannon University. Endless nights full of laughs in Lubiak and Freeman Hall and copious weekends spent at Phi Sig events are some of Danielle's fondest memories. Despite graduating, becoming 'real' adults, and relocating to different cities, Tori and Danielle maintained a strong bond post-undergrad. Whether it be tattoo fundraisers to support animal shelters, a new piercing, or a quick lunch, Danielle always felt that, despite the time and physical distance growing between them, they were always able to pick up where they left off (which is the best type of friendship). Tori's hobbies include being the best mom to Nora, Noah, and several fur babies, spending time with family and friends, reading, and grabbing Starbucks.
David Brown

Dave is Corey’s brother-in-law, married to Corey’s sister, Chelsea. Corey is grateful to have him as part of the family; not just because he treats Chelsea with the love and respect she deserves, but because he somehow manages the patience required to be married to her (no small feat). Always ready to cook Corey a meal that won't trigger a gastritis flare up, Dave is exactly the kind of person you hope joins your family. Corey is honored to have him standing up there on his big day. In his spare time, Dave enjoys all things horror (which is much-appreciated by Danielle), video games, and watching movies with Chelsea and Ollie.
Ashley Walther

Ashley and Danielle met in 2019 at THE Ohio State University where they were pursuing advanced degrees in nutrition. As you can probably imagine, Ashley and Danielle trauma bonded over the grueling existence that was being a graduate student at one of, if not, the biggest college in the U.S. Whether that be through Starbucks (PSL!), plant stores, or crafts, Ashley and Danielle found joy in the little things that Columbus, OH had to offer. Ashley currently resides in Chicago, IL, the ideal mid-West location for cicada broods to emerge (among other favorable characteristics)! Ashley not only supported Danielle in her wildest dreams of being present for a 17-year cicada emergence in 2024, but humored Danielle by too, frolicking with the cicadas. In her spare time, Ashley enjoys reading, baking, a scenic walk through nature, crafting, and gardening.
Kyle Martin

Kyle is Danielle's long-time best friend. Danielle and Kyle also met at Gannon University in 2012. They coincidentally grew up in neighboring towns (and knew a mutual friend). Danielle would never tell Kyle this to his face, but in that moment, she was grateful to talk about kids in Orchard Park High School and Sahlen's hot dogs, because she was feeling quite home sick in dreary Erie, PA. Kyle is the brother Danielle never had (another thing she would never say to his face). While Kyle and Danielle pick on each other endlessly, they bond over snacks, Lorde concerts, and justifying a 3-hour drive to Ohio for Raisin' Canes chicken tenders. In his spare time, Kyle enjoys making espresso, riding his bike, and nurturing his fur-babe, Theo.
Harrison Brown

Harrison is the beloved nephew of Corey and Danielle. His favorite things include a warm bottle, brown noise, car rides, looking at his big brother Ollie, and snuggling. In his spare time, he enjoys rooting for the Buffalo Bills!
Nora Marino
Flower Girl
Nora, daughter to Danielle's long-time BFF, Carly (bridesmaid), will serve as Danielle and Corey's flower girl on their big day. In her spare time, Nora enjoys eating food, cuddling, laughing at herself in the mirror, swimming, and playing with her fur siblings.
