It all began on a double date—simple, sweet, and unexpected. We talked for hours about life, our dreams, and the future we hoped to build. It was like looking in a mirror—our goals, our values, everything aligned. For our second date, we returned to the beach, sharing pizza, dancing in the sand, and laughing until our cheeks hurt. For those hours, we were just two kids at heart, free and full of joy. After Colton's training, we had a week together—a week that changed everything. We spent every moment side by side, laughing, talking, falling. That’s when the feelings truly began to blossom. Then Colton left for Florida, and we thought maybe that was the end of our story. But love has a way of proving itself when you least expect it. We kept talking, and before I knew it, I was on my first trip to Florida to see him. We stayed up until 5 a.m. just to watch the sunrise on the beach. It felt like a dream, and from that point on, we couldn’t stay away from each other. He’d make the trip almost every weekend just to be with me. Eventually, I moved to Florida to be with him. That’s when our adventure really began. Colton had bought an RV, and together, we poured our hearts into fixing it up. It became our little home, full of memories. There were tears and laughter, mistakes and milestones. We learned so much—not just about plumbing and paint—but about each other. We grew stronger, closer, and more in love with every challenge. Now, we live in our first home, but no matter where we are, we carry the heart of our journey with us. Through the tough times, we never wavered. We’ve always had each other’s backs. We are best friends, partners, and still those same playful, goofy kids when we’re together. And that, more than anything, is our love story—one built on laughter, loyalty, and a whole lot of late-night pizza.
