Question

How can I book my room at Secrets Moxche?

Answer

Please visit the "Travel" tab on our website and follow the link to the Travel Impressions website. Be sure to select the correct dates for your stay and the room type you'd like. If you have any other questions about booking your rooms or flights, please reach out to our Wedding Travel Agent, Heather Bannon. heather@thebeeskneestravel.com (832) 382-9529

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 31st, 2025 so that we have an accurate headcount and you can spread out your payments with the resort! NOTE: although you will need to RSVP by this date, you do NOT have to book your room at this time if you would like to wait. Please contact our wedding travel agent Heather Bannon (heather@thebeeskneestravel.com) for any questions about booking your stay.

Question

Do I need a passport to attend the wedding or can I use my REAL ID?

Answer

All guests will need a valid passport to travel to Mexico. If you do not already have one, we recommend applying as soon as possible to avoid any delays. If your passport is expiring soon, be sure to check the expiration date - many countries require passports to be valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates.

Question

What's the best way to make air travel smoother?

Answer

A few things can help. Arrive early, check in online, and keep your passport handy at every checkpoint. If you want extra ease, consider programs like TSA PreCheck or Global Entry, which can save a lot of time when traveling internationally.

Question

Any tips for getting through customs quickly?

Answer

Yes! Downloading the MOBILE PASSPORT CONTROL app (free from US Customs and Border Protection) can help you breeze through customs lines if you're short on time during connections. It's an easy way to save a little stress on travel day.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please reference your invitation for plus one information!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our dress code is resort formal - think elegant but breezy! We'd love to see guests in summery, pastel colors that complement the tropical setting. Light fabrics like linen or chiffon are perfect for staying comfortable. Gentle reminder to kindly refrain from wearing white. Can't wait to celebrate with you in style! Need some inspiration? Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, but to keep our celebration intimate, we have chosen to make our wedding an adults-only event. Additionally, our venue is an adults-only resort. We hope you can enjoy this special night as a well-deserved getaway!

Question

Can I use my phone during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that all phones be put away and on silent during the ceremony so that everyone can be fully present with us. We have a professional photographer capturing all of the special moments, and we can't wait to share them with you! Feel free to take as many photos as you'd like during the rest of the celebration and post whenever you'd like. Thank you for respecting this special moment with us!

Question

Is it inside or outside?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be outside, so plan your attire accordingly. The weather in Mexico is beautiful in March, but you don't want to get too hot!

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

March in Cancun is warm and sunny, with a daytime average of 82°F and evenings cooling down to about 70°F. Humidity is lower this time of year, and rain is unlikely - but it's always good to be prepared for a passing shower!

Question

Will the ceremony be on the beach?

Answer

No, the ceremony will take place on the Sky Gazebo - beautiful ocean views minus the sand! The reception will be held on the Pool Terrace, where we'll celebrate under the stars. So, while we won't be on the beach, you'll still get the tropical feel with a little extra comfort!

Question

Should I bring any cash?

Answer

Since the resort is all-inclusive, all of your food and drinks are already covered - no need to worry about paying as you go. That said, it can be nice to have a little cash (US dollars are widely accepted) for tipping staff or covering small extras. Tipping is not required, but always appreciated for great service.

Question

Do I need to bring printed travel documents?

Answer

While digital confirmations are quick and convenient, it's always smart to carry printed copies of your hotel reservation and flight details - in case WiFi is spotty or your phone dies.

Question

Is there a departure tax when leaving Mexico?

Answer

Sometimes, Mexico requires international travelers to pay a small departure tax when leaving the country (between $20-$30). This rule is enforced randomly, so you may be asked about it when going through security on your way home. Most major airlines include this fee in the price of your ticket, but it's a good idea to double-check with your airline before traveling. If it's not included and you do not want to be caught off guard if an airport official asks you, you'll need to pay it before departure. Having a little cash on hand is helpful in this case.
