Durango, CO is located in beautiful southern Colorado. It’s is approximately 45 miles from Farmington, NM where Danielle and Cody reside.

Lodging
Unfortunately, lodging in Durango can be quite expensive. Farmington may be the most affordable option and is about 45 miles from Durango. There are some other surrounding towns that may be more affordable as well: Aztec and Bloomfield in New Mexico and Mancos and Bayfield in Colorado.

Durango-La Plata County Airport
The Durango airport is quite small. It is about 20 minutes outside of the town of Durango. It may or may not be easier to fly into Albuquerque instead.

Albuquerque International Sunport
The Albuquerque airport is about 3.5 to 4 hours from Durango. However, the flights here are likely much cheaper.
