Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Danielle Alleman and Clayton Lewis
We're so excited to share a few of our favorite places with you! We love living in Bellingham, and hope you love it as much as we do!

Whatcom Falls Park

1401 Electric Avenue, Bellingham, WA 98229
, (360) 778-7000

Stroll through the forest to a picturesque stone bridge overlooking a waterfall. You can meander on many trails, or simply park and a walk a quick 100 yards to the falls.

Larrabee State Park

245 Chuckanut Drive, Bellingham, WA 98229
, (360) 676-2093

Soak up breathtaking views of Samish Bay. Also, you’ll get amazing close-up views of the San Juan Islands. Day use is $10 or $30 for a Discover Pass (valid at all state parks).

Boulevard Park

Bayview Drive, Bellingham, WA 98225

A beautiful waterfront park. Take a walk along the South Bay Trail while you're here.

Mount Baker National Forest

WA

Bellingham and Mt. Baker go hand-in-hand. You can not only see the peak from the city, but you can easily drive to it. Take the Mt. Baker Scenic Highway (State Route 542). From Bellingham, it’s just under an hour and a half. Once there, hop on the many popular hiking trails like those to Artist Point, Picture Lake, and Yellow Aster Butte. The in-your-face views of Mt. Baker will blow your mind!

Chuckanut Drive

Chuckanut Drive, Bow, WA

As one of the top scenic drives in Washington, Chuckanut Drive offers 19 miles of waterfront bliss. The road winds high above the shore and offer multiple viewing areas to pull over. From here, you can admire Samish Bay and the San Juan Islands.

Fairhaven

Bellingham, WA 98225

A special area of south Bellingham with food, shops, and more!

San Juan Islands

WA

Why stare at the San Juan Islands when you can visit them? Ferries from Anacortes (about 50 minutes south of Bellingham) will take you to the islands of Lopez, Orcas, and San Juan, where there is a ton to do!

Great place to rent kayaks and more!

WA 98284

A favorite pass-time of Bellingham residents and visitors is mountain biking. The rush of adrenaline and wind keeps riders fueled. Thankfully, there are extensive trail systems here. Don’t have a bike? You can rent from several places around town.
