Chris and Danielle first met when she asked him out for dinner. Though Chris would like to think it was because of his charismatic nature or good looks, it was mostly (read: entirely) because he had just moved in up the street and Danielle felt sorry for him. Plus, Chris ended up third-wheeling with Danielle and her then roommate, Julia. Once Chris understood that she wasn't actually hitting on him, he played it cool... for a little while. The two of them, along with their respective roommates, would often bond over game nights and movies. And at the opportune time, Chris saw his opportunity to ask Danielle out properly. And with politeness and pity responded, "No." Months would go by with only minimal awkwardness before Chris would ask her out for the second time. And with great confusion in her voice (mostly because she was impressed he would ask a second time), Danielle - not so confidently - responded, "Sure." From that point on Chris would often tease Danielle and get on her nerves and annoy her, but all the while he would care for her and be patient with her and love her. This would go on until that fateful day of October 3rd, 2020, when Chris got down on his knee and asked Danielle to marry him. Sure of herself and the choice she was making, Danielle confidently replied, "Yes!"
