Where on earth is this place?
Answer
Well it's on a very nice part of Earth. Yeah, navigating on base can be a little tricky. The event will be held at the Breaker's Beach Deck at Naval Air Station North Island, Coronado CA. It's the Top Gun beach. Tragically, the bar featured in the movie does not exist. The venue can be accessed via the VADM James B Stockdale Gate. A valid photo ID will be required of ALL guests aged 18+. The full guest list will be provided to base security prior to the event, and you will need to complete a background check prior to the event. This will be addressed in a separate FAQ.

How can I travel onto base?
Answer
You can drive onto base in your personal vehicle or take a taxi cab (Coronado Cab Company for example) which can take you directly to the beach deck. The majority of taxi drivers have base access, you can simply tell them where you are headed and they can confirm/ deny access. UBERS/LYFTS are NOT ALLOWED ON BASE and will only be able to drop you off at the gate. The walk in is about 1.5 miles. Turn your nose to the beach and head off!

Alright. So. For all our non-military friends, let’s get down to business, no fun n games over here, no sir: Please check your email for a message from Jaquan Ellis. (Jaquan.r.ellis.civ@us.navy.mil) It looks very sketchy, I have ~feedback~ for that department. It should have “Danielle Vislisel and Caleb Vislisel Wedding” in the subject line. Please read very carefully, as it’s hard to find the important info! I’ll summarize below as well: 1. One email is needed to be sent per guest. So if there are two members of your party, you can send the information needed from a singular email *address* (for example, johnwick@gmail.com), but each guest’s info must be sent in its own separate *email*. 2. Subject line for your email(s) to Jaquan Ellis: “Danielle Vislisel and Caleb Vislisel Wedding 10/28/23” 3. In the email, include in PDF format the confirmation of your completed DBIDS sign-up ( https://dbids-global-enroll.dmdc.mil/preenrollui/#!/ ) And include picture of your photo ID, which can be uploaded from your phone (you do not need to upload a scanned copy). Also PDF. 4.
