Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport OR Flint Bishop Airport
Flying into Detroit may be the most cost effective, but it is a hour and a half away from Frankenmuth, MI. Flint Bishop Airport may be more pricy but it is only a half hour away from Frankenmuth, MI. For both options you will need to get a rental vehicle, for there are no transportation shuttles provided from the airports to the hotels in Frankenmuth.
