Park City
Main Street Park City has plenty of shops and restaurants to check out and is only about 30-40 minutes from downtown SLC.
Snowbird
You can ride on one of the largest gondolas in the country to the top of the mountain. You can also check out the base of the mountain where Octoberfest will be happening on Sunday September 7.
Millcreek Canyon
There are plenty of awesome hiking trails in Millcreek Canyon. We don't have any favorites there because they are all great.
Antelope Island
There are over 400 buffalo along with plenty of other species of animals living on this island in the middle of the Great Salt Lake. There are also plenty of hiking trails on the island. Less than 1 hour from downtown Salt Lake.
Cathedral of the Madeleine
One of the most beautiful Catholic Churches in the country.

If you have little ones, this is a great place that is near downtown.
City Creek Center
Just downstairs from the hotel. Plenty of shopping and restaurants in an open air format.
Lagoon Amusement Park
Great theme park for kids and adults. Great way to spend the day as adults or with kids. Pack your own cooler if you'd like.
Red Iguana
Frequently advertised on the Food Network. Best mexican food in Utah and known for their mole. Also they have fantastic margaritas.
