Brendan asked Danielle to be his girlfriend in the 7th grade where they both attended Sequoya middle school. Brendan and Danielle went on to be high school sweet hearts & continued their relationship while attending separate colleges.

Brendan and Danielle went to Ochi Rios, Jamaica, for a vacation. Brendan and Danielle took a walk on the boardwalk above the ocean and there was a photographer waiting at the end of it. Danielle could tell Brendan was nervous about something and she started to realize what was about to happen. Once they reached the end of the boardwalk, Brendan got down on one knee and asked Danielle if she would marry him.
