Brendan and Danielle met working summer camp at the YMCA in 2010. They always seemed to cross paths throughout the day and would entertain each other's small talk. When summer ended, Brendan enlisted in the Navy and was off to boot camp. A few years had passed and they would exchange occasional messages until they eventually met up in December of 2013 when Brendan was on leave from the Navy. Danielle picked Brendan up they shared beverages and conversation at Molly Brannigan's. Minutes turned to hours and they eventually left, still chatting the entire way home. Danielle dropped Brendan off and he immediately asked to see her again the following day, and the next day, and the next day....they became inseparable. Soon Brendan left to return to San Diego and the two visited every chance they had; the airport was almost a second home to them. In November of 2016, Brendan separated from the Navy and moved to Pittsburgh and Danielle followed in July 2017. Brendan proposed on December 8, 2018 with a hand-painted scavenger hunt through Schenley Park. It's been a long time in the making, but it's finally here!
