Brandon had just moved from Maryland and Danielle moved from Jupiter. So how did they meet? It all started on Hinge, where we'll just say that as soon as Danielle saw a picture of Brandon in his kangaroo outfit, it was game over.  Brandon started the conversation and immediately there was chemistry. After a couple weeks they finally had their first date at Samurai Blue Sushi on Cindo de Mayo! When Brandon walked up the steps to the restaurant and saw Danielle for the first time he was blown away by how beatuiful she was, and right away Danielle fell for Brandon’s eyes & smile. The date immediately set the tone for what would be a beautiful relationship. Brandon tried hot sake for his first time and Danielle tried his salmon (if you know you know). This little detail highlighted their shared open-mindeness and willingness to expand their horizons. When the sushi arrived, Brandon noticed that Danielle was genuinely excited for him to try hers. He loved that she had joy in sharing what she enjoyed. Brandon could tell that she had a glowing heart. They spent all night telling stories, laughing, and feeling the butterflies. Afterwards they walked back to Brandon's car to add time to the meter, and Brandon turned to Danielle and said, "I just can't wait any longer", and then he kissed her for the first time. This was the beginning of their story. Throughout their relationship, Brandon has supported Danielle through PA school and through the toughest times has always believed in her. Being with Brandon allowed her to grow and feel comfortable to experience things she once didn’t believe she could. This was proven through some strenuous hikes along cliff edges, camping in the wilderness with bears, and running multiple 5k races together. She has supported Brandon through all of his passions such as running where she shows up to each and every race no matter the time or location. She fills his heart, provides a home for him, and gives him the reason and strength to be the best that he can. Brandon and Danielle have shared endless amounts of laughter, love, and unforgettable experiences. They never want that to end and want each other for the rest of their lives. At the core, their relationship is founded on honesty, joy, and sweetness. They bring out the best in each other, and are stronger together. They both share dreams of building a beautiful loving family, traveling the world, and growing old together with that light always shining in their eyes. Brandon knew it was going to be tricky to surprise Danielle with the proposal. Danielle knew it was coming and he wanted to do it somewhere special. So he had a creative idea - He planned a whole month of special dates that hold deep meaning to them. All of which could plausibly be the one he proposed. That way Danielle didn't know WHEN it was going to happen so there was still an element of surprise. Brandon couldn’t wait any longer and proposed on the first planned date, 2 days after he had gotten the ring, at the same place they met, Samurai Blue. There were rose peddles that lined the same table they sat at almost 4 years earlier. Before they could even sit down, Brandon was on one knee with his heart pounding with excitement. For Danielle it was the easiest "yes" of her life.
