In February of 2021, Branden and I were both on a dating website called Tinder. We matched instantly and talked for hours on end. After almost a month, Branden asked me on a date. Of course I said yes, but ONLY after I had my hair done (true story!). On March 4, 2021 we had our first date. We had no plans for dinner but walked around Rhinebeck until we found a place to eat. We sat down to dinner at a restaurant called Gigi's. From the moment we sat down, we couldn't stop talking, sharing stories and sharing things we had in common. From that day forward, we were inseparable. Between traveling to horse shows, exploring different breweries or spontaneous road trips, we were always doing life together. On October 27, 2023, Branden and I took a trip to Boston, Massachusetts to visit Salem for Halloween. On Sunday morning, Branden told me to dress in something nice since we were going to brunch. However, he wanted to take a walk through the beautiful trellis and rose garden behind our hotel first. As we're walking through the beautiful trellis, hand in hand, Branden starts confessing his love for me and how he never wants to live a day without me. As I turn to face him, Branden drops down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of our lives together. Between tears and (many) kisses, I said YES! And so begins our forever.
