While it's most convenient to stay at the Marriott hotel, please feel free to look for alternative housing options (either house rentals or other hotels in the area). Myrtle Beach is a well known vacation destination and has no shortages of places to stay, however given the current circumstances, you may want to book something far in advance. If you're looking for a house rental, I personally recommend staying in NORTH Myrtle Beach, as Myrtle Beach is very commercial, crowed and may not suite everyone.
