We're Getting Married!

The year was 2014 and khaki pants with Asics sneakers was the hottest look on the streets for men when Bullhorn decided to send its two top employees, Ben and Danielle, on a business trip to Orlando. Ben, being the savvy young man that he was, told Danielle, "since we're going away together, we should exchange phone numbers... you know... in case one of us gets lost. And while we're down there, we should probably eat dinner together every night... just so neither one of us looks like Steven Glansberg eating alone." By the time they returned from the trip, Danielle was thinking that this Ben guy is pretty "cool" and Ben had probably already called his mom to tell her about his new girlfriend. Luckily for both of them, this was a particularly busy time at Bullhorn so there were many late nights and Ben, again didn't let this opportunity slide and asked Danielle on a few occasions if she wanted to get a drink after work to blow off some steam. Now Danielle claims that at the time she thought it was no more than two co-workers getting a drink, while Ben was tallying these nights up as dates. Anyway, the dinners and drinks continued and eventually Danielle did acknowledge that two single people getting dinner and drinks together does consitute as a date when they went to Boston Chops about six months later. The dates continued and the baggy khakis and Asics were traded in for "normal person" pants and shoes and a new hairdo. The rest is history.

*See picture above*. Danielle was out to brunch with some friends in Charlestown where she was met by her sister, nieces and nephew to hang out in the city for a little bit. As they were walking back to the North End, they walked through a park where Danielle saw Ben. At first she was freaked out, wondering why Ben was hanging out in a random park and completely unaware of what was happening. Meanwhile, her two nieces had run right up to Ben, stood next to him, each on one side, and unzipped their coats. Their shirts read "You Me? Marry". (They were so excited they forgot the line up and Danielle's nephew (the "Will" was having a nap time meltdown) Ben got down on one knee, and after Danielle got over the shock of the surprise, said yes!
