Cadillac Mountain is one of the first places in the U.S. to see the sunrise, with sweeping views of ocean and sky. You can choose to hike or drive- just know if you drive, you must obtain a timed vehicle registration as they are not available for purchase in the park (visit the link below for parking reservations). Tickets are $6 per vehicle. And don't forget your park pass! Directions: The start of Cadillac Summit Road is located on the two-way section of the Park Loop Road in Acadia National Park between Jordan Pond and the Cadillac Mountain entrance on Route 233 (Eagle Lake Road) in Bar Harbor, Maine.
