Acadia National Park
Venture into the national park for some amazing hiking trails and sightseeing! There are many hikes for both beginners and advanced hikers (you can download All Trails for hikes around the park).
Cadillac Mountain
Cadillac Mountain is one of the first places in the U.S. to see the sunrise, with sweeping views of ocean and sky. You can choose to hike or drive- just know if you drive, you must obtain a timed vehicle registration as they are not available for purchase in the park (visit the link below for parking reservations). Tickets are $6 per vehicle. And don't forget your park pass! Directions: The start of Cadillac Summit Road is located on the two-way section of the Park Loop Road in Acadia National Park between Jordan Pond and the Cadillac Mountain entrance on Route 233 (Eagle Lake Road) in Bar Harbor, Maine.
Bass Harbor Head Light Station
At the end of Lighthouse Road off Route 102A in Bass Harbor The grounds are open to the public; the lighthouse is not. Grounds open all year, 9 a.m. to sunset; free parking.

Downtown Bar Harbor is an adorable town by the water filled with restaurants, bars and MANY gift shops!
