the first time we were introduced was at the 2018 illinois beef expo, however it wasn’t until that may when we bumped into each other again that we started talking. danielle was visiting a friend in macomb and decided to go to the pace where, unknowingly, avery was already. instead of saying hi at first, avery patted danielle on the head and said ‘are you even old enough to be in here?’ we got each others snapchats that night and the rest is history! ;)

avery had a whole plan! we hit the road headed home after danielle was done with work on a saturday. we were supposed to be stopping by dave and laurie’s to grab a christmas gift and then head to burlington for ‘dinner reservations’ ..that was not the case! instead avery had family meet us at dave and laurie’s barn where avery had flower petals and candles laid out as well as 3 foot tall bulbed letters that he made that spelled out marry me. it was the most magical night both of us have yet to experience!

we are currently living in colusa, illinois where we love working on house projects and being closer to family. avery is working at merschman seeds in west point as a regional sales manager and danielle is doing hair at raze in burlington. we are absolutely loving life and can’t wait for september to continue our journey together! <3
