Question

Are children allowed? (¿Se permiten niños?)

Answer

We’re thrilled to celebrate with guests of all ages! Children are welcome until 8:30pm, when the celebration will shift to an 12 and older reception (with exceptions for immediate family). The first shuttle will depart at that time to the designated hotel. Thank you for understanding! ¡Nos llena de alegría celebrar con invitados de todas las edades! Los niños son bienvenidos hasta las 8:30 PM, momento en el cual la celebración se transformará en una recepción para mayores de 12 años (con excepciones para la familia directa). What time are the shuttles leaving the hotels? (¿A qué hora salen los transportes desde los hoteles?)

Answer

The shuttle for the CHARLOTTESVILLE hotel block will leave at 3:15 AND 3:45. The shuttle for the CULPEPER hotel block will leave at 3:00 AND 3:45. Note: you do NOT have to stay at these hotel blocks to take the shuttle. You can drive to these hotels or walk if it is close enough. Or park at the venue, but please note there is absolutely NO parking at the venue overnight. (La lanzadera para el bloque de hoteles en CHARLOTTESVILLE saldrá a las 3:15 Y a las 3:45. You don’t have to stay at the hotel in the designated block if you’d prefer something else. You’re welcome to stay at a nearby hotel and simply take the shuttle back to the designated hotel block—it’ll still be easy and convenient! (No tienes que hospedarte en uno de los hoteles del bloque designado si prefieres otra opción. Puedes quedarte en un hotel cercano y simplemente tomar el transporte de regreso al hotel del bloque designado—¡igual será fácil y conveniente!)

Unfortunately, if you do not RSVP by the date listed on the invitation, you will be counted as a 'no.' We wish you could share our special day with us, but understand that things happen! Answer

Semi-Formal! It has the potential to be chilly in early November, so make sure to bring layers if you get cold easily! Dresses, jumpsuits, and pantsuits work for women. Ties, popped collar, button up shirts, or a suit all work for men. Please no shorts, jeans, or cargo pants! Of course, please do not wear white or cream. (¡Semi-formal! Puede hacer un poco de frío a principios de noviembre, así que asegúrense de traer capas si tienen frío con facilidad. Los vestidos, monos y trajes de pantalón son apropiados para las mujeres. Rules at Renback Barn: No smoking or vaping in the barn or on porches. Smoking only allowed in the gravel area beside the barn. Do not leave cigarette butts or cigars; use the provided dispensers. A fee will apply if anything is left behind. No illegal drugs allowed on the property. No marijuana at the venue, even if legal to possess in Virginia. Anyone found with it will be asked to leave, and the client will be fined $150. Only medical use is permitted with a valid doctor's note per VA law (Section 40.1-27.4). No overnight parking at Renback Barn — no exceptions. )Reglas en Renback Barn: Prohibido fumar o vapear dentro del granero o en los porches. Both! We plan to have the ceremony/cocktail hour outside if weather permits, and then have the reception indoors. If the weather is uncooperative, everything will be inside! (¡Ambos! We are having an 'unplugged' ceremony. This means that we ask to put your phones on silent and put them away for the ceremony! Let the photographer capture our beautiful ceremony! There is some parking at Renback. There will also be a shuttle provided to and from our designated hotel if you wish to use the shuttle service. There is NO parking overnight at Renback Barn.
