On August 9th, 2018 Danielle created a CatholicMatch profile and Anthony's profile came up as a potential match. She messaged him saying "I don't know how to do this, have never online dated...but hi". Within a few hours, he messaged her back and the rest is history! They had their first date at a Starbucks and talked for 3 hours on a beautiful summer evening. A few weeks later, on September 7th, 2018, Anthony and Danielle walked around downtown Annapolis, sat on the pier, and he asked her to be his girlfriend.

On September 19th, Anthony and Danielle took her dog Finn for a car ride to Quiet Waters Park, a park just outside of Annapolis, MD. Along their path, they walked to the South River Overlook, a garden accompanied by two gazebos with a path that ran along the open water of the South River. Due to Finn's consistent excitement around many dogs, they were "forced" to sit at a bench along the water and wait for him to calm down. During this time, they reflected on all the memories that they have created in the past two years: going to the Mumford & Sons concert, traveling to North Carolina to visit Jessica (Danielle's sister), flying to Boston to visit Victoria (Anthony's sister), and all of the laughs that they had shared. Unsuspectedly (to Danielle that is), all of the parents and siblings were arriving at the overlook to gather for this blessed moment. When approaching the overlook, Anthony was eagerly waiting on a phone call from his father, signaling that they were all in position and that they were there waiting for him to propose. Once Anthony had received the phone call, he asked Danielle if she wanted to walk around the corner to see the dog park. As they stood up, Anthony dropped to one knee to tie his shoe. Instead, he pulled out a ring and said: "Danielle, these moments are only what I hope to be the start of our very long journey together. Would you please be the wife for the rest of my life?" Thankfully, Danielle said "Yes". Anthony then replied, "So you'll marry me?" Danielle exclaimed "Of course!" After embracing the moment and putting the ring on her finger, Anthony turned Danielle around to see that both of their families had traveled to celebrate the start of their lives together as Mr. and Mrs. Angelucci.
