We’re getting married!

We had been talking through video chats, snapchats, and text messages for a whole month before our first date in March. As most of you know, we met on Upward (a Christian dating app), and had gotten to know each other a bit before we decided that we wanted to close the 4.5 hour distance between us by going on a date. We were both nervous and excited and had the day mapped out with periodical exits if we needed them... well if he needed them. Our date consisted of meeting at Lupe Tortilla first, which was Danielle's favorite restaurant, then following up with a cup of coffee. If that went well, we'd both agreed that we would then go and meet up with Danielle's best friend and her husband and spend a few hours with them at the Liberty Jubilee. Then if that went well, we would then go to a game night with most of Danielle's friends at her PASTOR'S HOUSE. I know... Nerve wracking... and a busy day. LOL Long story short... we both enjoyed each others company and each phase of the date, we wanted to continue. The day was full of laughs, good food, good friends, and ended with a goodnight's kiss. The very next day, I reluctantly let him come to church with me and meet my family at lunch afterwards. He then took my mom aside and asked her if he could ask me to be his girlfriend... (I KNOW SO SWEET). He then asked me in my car if I would be his girlfriend right before he drove back to Dallas. I said yes... and we've been moving as fast as lightning since then. Tony moved to Liberty in July and then proposed the very next month in his grandmother's backyard. We are now planning the wedding of our dreams and we are so excited to share our special day with you all!
