Angel and Danielle met about 12 years ago in a high school culinary class, where they quickly became good friends. They continued to stay in touch occasionally for many years, but over time, distance grew between them. This was until Angel, out of the blue, invited Danielle on a private flight to the beach in Oxnard, California, where they spent hours reconnecting. This is when their story began, and their friendship blossomed into something beyond what they could have ever predicted. After spending an increasing amount of time together, they realized their feelings for each other were beyond friendship level. They developed a relationship and began officially dating in February 2021, and were engaged to be married in February 2022. The past few years have been full of adventure as they moved into their first apartment together, lived in separate states for some time, and overall have experienced many life changes together. Danielle's and Angel's engagement night was nothing short of magical. In celebration of their one-year anniversary, Angel surprised Danielle with tickets to Disneyland for a Valentines Day event. Little did she know, this night would be one of the most memorable nights for them both. Angel had arranged a photoshoot in front of Snow White’s wishing well, when he got down on one knee and asked Danielle to marry him, to which she happily accepted without hesitation. While soaking in the moment, Danielle heard a very familiar voice yell “congratulations!”, and when she turned around, she found their parents excited to share the moment with them both, making their engagement night even more special.
