The year was 2016. Danielle had just graduated college and entered the same education training program that Andre had finished 1 year earlier. Ironically, we ended up working at the same school too. The crazy part is that Danielle didn’t like Andre at first (before she met him of course….because to know Andre is to love him lol). Andre had been named “Teacher of the Year” after his 1st year, and that was all anyone ever talked about as she entered the scene. And if you know Danielle, you know that she is competitive, and she was determined to show that she was just as good, if not better. But, when she saw what Andre looked like, she couldn’t help but say, “DAMN! WHAT A MAN?!” Throughout the year they developed a friendship and bond through our passion for students. We began hanging out along with our mutual best friend, David, and really became close friends. Before long we began to ditch David (lol) and hang out separately which was the genesis of our romance. Our love story didn’t start with an initial spark but rather a slow burn to get to where we are today and we couldn’t be happier.
