Danielle and Alex met in 2007 while freshman at Ole Miss. As soon as their eyes locked at that frat party, Alex was holding two Natty Lights and he uttered that epic pickup line "Do you want a beer?" Danielle being Danielle replied with "I don't drink beer but I'll take a hunch punch." The rest was history. They enjoyed college so much that they stayed there for five years together making great friends and even better memories.

After graduating from Ole Miss in 2012, they took their journey to New York City. In NYC they started their careers, endured 200 square foot studios, and mouse infested apartments together. Six years, two dogs, and four apartments later. Christmas 2018 Alex FINALLY proposed during their Christmas tradition of going to see the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree. Alex asked two random women to take a video of the proposal, while Danielle reserved their spot to get their annual picture taken. As Danielle was fighting the crowd to get the prime location she had no idea Alex was about to get on one knee. While Danielle fluffed her hair for the photo, Alex jumped up on the bench where they were taking the picture and dropped down to one knee and asked Danielle if she would marry him. She responded by hitting Alex, which is indicative of the years and marriage to come. Alex continued to surprise Danielle all weekend by having her family come up the next day to celebrate with both of them!
