The closest airport to the wedding is San Jose International Airport. Other airports in the region include San Francisco International Airport, Oakland International Airport, and Monterey Regional Airport, but these are all either further away or offer fewer flight options.
Santa Cruz is approximately 40 minutes from San Jose without traffic, but Highway 17 is often congested during rush hour and on weekends with people heading to the beach.
While there aren't any hotels in Soquel itself, there are many hotels in Santa Cruz and Capitola, which are close to Soquel. Vacation rentals like AirBnB or VRBO are also good options.
If you want to minimize travel time to the venue, we recommend staying east of downtown Santa Cruz. Fun neighborhoods include Twin Lakes and downtown Capitola. If you want easy access to nightlife and the Boardwalk, downtown Santa Cruz is the best option.
