UC Botanical Gardens
FREE ADMISSION on 4/25/2025. All guests welcome to enjoy the 34 acres of diverse landscape. The garden features 9 geographic regions of naturalistic plantings, displaying over 10,000 types of plants. Many of which are rare and endangered species. We hope that you take pleasure in exploring the garden's picturesque spaces and exhibits.
East Bay Regional Parks
Just up the hill from the wedding venue is Tilden Park. It boasts numerous family-friendly attractions, including multi-use trails, a golf course, steam trains, carousel, petting zoo and lake. The encompassing East Bay Regional Park District offers 73 parks spanning across 126809 acres, with 1330 miles of trails and 55 miles of shoreline to enjoy. There is something for everyone, so check it out.
Visit a Museum
The cultural diversity of the region brings with it a variety of experiences and styles. Why not appreciate these triumphs of civilization with a trip to one of the Bay Area’s many museums? Specialty themed museums and exhibitions are boundless, but broader genres are still well represented. Staples for the apt museum-goer include the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the de Young Museum, and the Legion of Honor. For something different check out the Exploratorium, the Asian Art Museum, The Oakland Museum of California, or the California Academy of Sciences.
