The requirements are changing every day, but as of right now our vendors are required to wear masks. Our guests are not required to wear a mask since it is a private party, but we totally understand if you are more comfortable wearing one throughout the day! We are expecting between 100-120 guests total. We will have plenty of hand sanitizing stations and there are multiple easily accessible restrooms for hand washing. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside and there is plenty of space to spread out yet still enjoy the music, scenery, and amazing appetizers. In addition to our buffet being served by our catering staff, the reception tables will also be extra spaced out! If you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to contact us!!
Just a figure of speech! No actual bells are required!
Cocktail/semi-formal. The ceremony will be outdoors in the grass, cocktail hour will be on the patio and in the tasting room, and the party will be inside!
Dinner will still be buffet style, but served by our amazing catering team instead of self-serve. We will have chicken and beef, roasted veggies, salad, and Danielle’s favorite..Mac and cheese!
While we wish we could have more people to celebrate in the best day ever with us, we are unable to accommodate children or extra guests due to space constraints at the venue.
For once Danielle will be on time and the ceremony will start promptly at 5:30pm! You should plan on arriving by 5:15pm. The winery will be open to the public until our ceremony starts, so you can go inside and enjoy a glass of wine or a tasting before we start! Please be aware that traffic can get backed up close to the venue, so you’ll want to allow for extra time when planning your travels!
The venue is about 6 hours from Gastonia, NC and about 1.5 hours from Pasadena, MD.
We want to make sure everyone drinks responsibly, and the lovely people at 8 Chains Winery allow for vehicles to stay over night! Just make sure you pick it up the next morning!
Of course! Do you even know us?
We’ve got killer photo and video teams to capture this special moment and we promise to share these with you! Please make sure phones are on silent and put away while we say “I Do”! (Or risk being tackled by Aaron)
We fell in love with this place the first time we visited and hope you will too! They will be open to the public until right before our ceremony starts, but that means you can do tastings or purchase a glass of wine if you get there early! Make sure you bring your ID as they will be checking them in order to serve alcohol! They have a strict no smoking policy, but there is a designated spot near the overflow parking.
You can call or text Aaron at 704-898-3773 or Danielle at 443-889-9254.
