Danielle went out for a girls night with her friend Stacey and Chris went to a Pre-Season Rangers game. Danielle was going to stay at her friend's house that evening instead of making her usual commute back to Toms River. Chris decided after a few minutes of watching the game, the Rangers were not playing any of their starting players and it was time for him to leave and catch the next train back to Montvale so he didn't need to wait two more hours. It was then when Danielle, her friend and Chris were looking up at the boards to see what track their train was on when Stacey noticed a familiar face. She said "Hey Chris, and he quickly replied with "Hey Stacey!" She then introduced Danielle to Chris. Chris took the train with the ladies to Secaucus where the three of them said their goodbyes. Danielle didn't give much thought that she would ever see Chris again, but Chris had different plans. When the girls posted on Facebook about their night out, Chris decided to set the record straight on how their story was being portrayed . Chris and Danielle proceeded to chat about the conversation with much laughter and flirting. Chris decided to ask Danielle to go out with him and after asking where she'd like to go for dinner she simply replied "how about dirty water dogs from the hot dog guy on the corner". The rest is history.
