Travel Note
Below you'll find information on our hotel block, as well as directions to the area! Red Maple Vineyard is located in the Hudson Valley which is approximately 2 hours from NYC. On day of the wedding, shuttle transportation will be provided to and from the hotel we have a room block with (Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Poughkeepsie) and Red Maple Vineyard. The shuttle times can be found in the "Schedule" section. In order to get to and from the hotel and Red Maple Vineyard, guests should plan to either take our shuttle bus or drive. It will likely be difficult to call an Uber late at night from Red Maple Vineyard. However, guests who are not staying at the room blocked hotel are still welcome to take the shuttle back to the hotel and call an Uber from there. For getting around the area during the day -- to/from hotel, the Saturday farewell, and the Poughkeepsie train station -- it should be easy to call an Uber. For guests arriving and departing via train, it is not necessary to rent a car. For guests that want to explore the Hudson Valley, having a car would be helpful, but Ubers can get you where you want to go.

Train
For those coming from NYC, you can hop on a Metro North train from Grand Central Terminal to Poughkeepsie (2 hours) or take an Amtrak from Penn Station (1.5 hours). The station is then a 10-15 min Uber to both the venue and the room blocked hotel.
Flight
Both Stewart Airport (SWF) and Westchester County Airport (HPN) are within a 1-hour drive from the wedding, but both airports have very limited flights, so you will likely be flying to/from one of the major NYC Airports (Newark, LaGuardia, JFK). It is possible to fly in and then take the train to our wedding, but for those flying, we recommend renting a car and driving from the airport. Newark and LaGuardia will be the most convenient options. JFK is also doable but drive time will be longer getting in and out of NYC.
