Once upon a time on a warm August afternoon, Danielle was swiping away on Tinder when a guy named Nic caught her eye. His name was spelled weird, but he was pretty cute so she swiped right. He obviously thought her profile was amazing as she referenced one of his favorite shows and he too swiped right. Once they matched, they hit it off and decided to go on a date. Danielle, ignoring all of the childhood "stranger danger" warnings she heard growing up (sorry mom), hopped in his car when he came to pick her up outside her apartment. Instead of kidnapping her, Nic took Danielle to Abbey's Burger Bistro in Fed Hill where they ate ostrich and bison burgers and laughed. Danielle knew Nic was special when he stopped mid sentence to point out a cute dog on the sidewalk. Nic thought Danielle was awesome but she talked louder than he expected. From there, they went on more and more dates until Nic caught on to the hints (or bombs) Danielle was dropping to make it official. Nic and Danielle proceeded to go on many adventures together including, but not limited to: baseball watching, tent camping, trail hiking, target shooting, jet skiing, manatee petting, and dog adopting.

Nic proposed to Danielle on December 24th, 2021 at their home in the presence of their dog, Mandy. In Nic's words, "She shot a match, so she got the rock" in reference to Danielle finally agreeing to shoot a match with him. Mandy was thrilled her parents decided to get married. She sniffed the ring and then proceeded to fall asleep. With her approval, Nic and Danielle decided to move forward and will tie the knot on August 13th, 2022. Cheers to more adventures and laughs!
