Roosevelt Row
Roosevelt Row is downtown Phoenix's walkable arts district, it's a busy area filled with art galleries, restaurants, bars and boutique shops in a landscape filled with vibrant street art. Mario grew up in Phoenix, we would explore his hometown often and we would frequent this area for breakfast, nice dinners, and nightlife! Phoenix is full of culture and beauty.
Malegria Latin cafe
We enjoy going on coffee dates and finding new spots. This is a latin owned business and one of our favorite finds. We recommend the chilaquiles and the strawberry horchata latte!
Deseo A Coffee Shack
Local Mexican-owned spot great for coffee and small bites. We recommend the abuelita mocha and primavera bagel.
Arizona Wilderness Gilbert Brewpub
We went here on our first date after a hike at Flatiron. We recommend the PB&J Burger and La Ciudad IPA. There's also locations in Phoenix.
Cider Corps Mesa
Myke's Pizza makes some really good wood-fired pizza here. We frequent here since it's close to us. We spent a lot of evenings here eating pizza, drinking ciders, talking about our future, and playing trivia.
Mensho Ramen
Our favorite ramen spot. Every time we go here it transports us to when we got in engaged in Japan.
Crafti Tea & Mocktail
A local favorite of ours. We enjoy the matcha here and our favorite is the London fog matcha!
Coffee48
We love to support our local businesses! This place is a small spot that really knows how to make a good Vietnamese coffee and delicious matcha.

The Nile Coffee Shop
Local coffee shop with good vibes. We would come here often and enjoy the coffee while we planned for the wedding.
Sedona
Just two hours north of Phoenix. If you're coming from out of town, it's one of our main recommendations. Sedona is full of beautiful hikes, vineyards, and wellness retreats. Perfect for a day trip.
Tlaquepaque
Tlaquepaque is a historic destination in Sedona. It's a shopping village designed after traditional Mexican villages. This shopping destination is full of art galleries, restaurants, and small boutiques.
Flagstaff
Flagstaff is just two hours from Phoenix. It's best known for its beautiful greenery, great hikes, and volcanic formations. We love going to Flagstaff because the drive into Flagstaff transports us into a scene of Twilight. Hoa hoa hoa hoaaa
