Since driving to the wedding venue is not permitted, transportation will be provided for all wedding guests. The pickup point for the shuttles to the venue is the Wells Fargo Bank located at 320 Lincoln Avenue in Steamboat Springs. If you have a car, you can drive to the Wells Fargo parking lot and park your car there. The shuttles will begin transporting guests to the venue at 3:00 pm.
Our wedding dress code is formal, which combines sophisticated country inspired chic. Ladies: Long dresses are encouraged (soft pastels with playful pops of color) as well as elegant midi Gentlemen: Smart suit and tie. Nighttime temperatures in late June at La Joya Dulce are generally cool, ranging from the 40s to 70 degrees Fahrenheit. It’s advisable to bring a wrap or light sweater for warmth.
Dress code for the welcome party is country flair. Popular items like denim (jackets, dresses and jeans), classic cowboy boots, flannel shirts, flowy dresses, embroidered western wear, western accessories like >> fringe bags, decorative belts and wide-brimmed hats
Guests will be transported from the pickup point in Steamboat starting at 3 pm and should arrive at La Joya Dulce by 4:00 pm. Before the ceremony, we’ll be serving mocktails and champagne, so please come and enjoy the drinks and games with a breathtaking view!

Steamboat Springs is conveniently accessible from two airports. You can fly to Denver International Airport (DEN) and then rent a car or book a car/shuttle service to Steamboat Springs. The drive is approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. Alternatively, you can fly directly to Hayden Yampa Valley Regional Airport (HDN). You can get an Uber or car service to town. Steamboat Springs is about 30 minutes away from the airport.
The Boathouse and rodeo are conveniently located close to each other, making the rodeo easily accessible by foot after the Welcome Party.
Parking is not available at the Boathouse. The most convenient option is to Uber to the Welcome Party. If you prefer to drive, you will need to locate offsite or street parking.
