This 33 acre park is home to the Savannah Rapids Pavilion and the Historic Augusta Canal Headgates. This newly developed area overlooks the picturesque Reed Creek Falls as it flows into the Historic Augusta Canal. Walkers and joggers love the pedestrian bridge that begins the 7.5 mile trail that takes you all the way to Augusta. Or you may simply chose to sit along the banks of Reed Creek and listen to the water rushing past. Picnic pavilions offer shade and a covered area to stop and rest or eat lunch.
