Our love story began in the most romantic place imaginable: the hot foods department of a grocery store. One of us (Brittany) was looking for a job and gave the only person behind the counter her resume (Daniele). At the time, we had no idea this would turn into a lifelong commitment—just that someone was clearly very serious about getting the job. We stayed friends for years, went our separate ways, and then—because fate apparently wasn’t finished with us—crossed paths again at Humber College. One Halloween years later, after all that time, we finally went on our first official date. (Yes, it took a while. Yes, it was absolutely worth it.) What started as co-workers turned into friendship, and eventually into the love we’re celebrating today. Who knew a résumé and chicken wings would lead us here? Brittany & Daniele
