Dan: Ever heard of that dating app called Hinge? We have, as have most Millennials who stayed single after college. What's sort of crazy about our story (really the only exciting bit), is that we met in the middle of a global pandemic in the Fall of 2020. The rest we don't need to go over because it's basically just me being irresistible and charming from the moment she laid eyes on me! Victoria: No, there’s more to the story. In fact, I'm ashamed to say I actually passed on Daniel's Hinge profile 3 times. I'm sorry, it's just easy to just swipe left and swipe right without putting much thought to it. Finally the fourth time, I slowed down and read his answers and decided to give him a like. I’m so glad I did :) Dan: The odds of us connecting on this app with thousands of people swiping away is kindof like the odds of being struck by lightning. It’s crazy to me to think that a couple days before we connected, I decided to add a religious answer to my Hinge profile. That tiny little decision resulted in me recieving a random like from one Victoria Diaz, San Antonio, Grad Student, 5ft 5, Wants Kids, Christian, Drinks Sometimes. That tiny little moment has brought us to this point of getting married. Thank you Jesus! Is there anything else you would like to add? Victoria: I’d like to add that I wasn’t expecting any of this, least of all to meet someone like Daniel. He really stood out to me as sweet, genuine, Jesus-loving and the first guy I’ve dated to make me laugh, I mean really laugh. A teary, stomach hurting laugh. 2 years later and here we are :)
